WOW!  What a rocking time we had!  Myself, and a crew of 3 raced last week from Naples.  We started at the Naples Pier at 10 am with temps in the 80's, sunshine, and winds from the east at 12 knots.  Picture perfect day!  As the day went on, winds shifted to north & we had a beautiful wing-on-wing sail with 18 knots!  Arrived at 3 am!  Boy, Key West is hard to find at night!  About 9 red & green lights all flashing at different times!  YIKES!  Luckily, we found our dock & tied up in the first available slip to get some rest.

On Friday, we all got up about 10:30, moved into our assigned slip at the Conch Harbour Marina, and waited for the arrival of my handsome husband, Ray.  He arrived safely on the fast ferry from Ft. Myers Beach.  Good to see him!  Then, at 5 pm, our good freind, Bruce, flew in from Chicago to join in the party action.

Good time had by all!      Captain Diane  over and out
