Cape Coral is the Waterfront Wonderland

Cape Coral is a dream....that became a reality! The Rosen Brothers of New Jersey  launched the city's history in 1957 when they platted and excavated more than 400 miles of fresh and salt water canals (Venice only has 26 miles of canals) linking back yards to lakes, the Caloosahatchee River and the  waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

In 1970 Cape Coral incorporated and became a city, and the rest, as they say, is history! Just a drive through the city will have you saying "Hey, somebody knows what they're doing here!". Cape Coral's 114 square miles (by comparison,  this is a larger land mass than Boston, Miami or San Fran!!)   is not suffering the pains of unrestrained growth and spot zoning. The infrastructure is in, the lots are platted and the land use plan is in place.   For example, no mobile homes or manufacturered homes are allowed in city limits.

The year 2000 marked a milestone when they city welcomed its 100,000th resident. MONEY MAGAZINE ranked Cape Coral one of the BEST PLACES TO LIVE in the entire United States. The City scored high in factors like low crime, low unemployment rate, clean air, local school quality and prospective job growth.   Cape Coral STILL ranks  WELL, with the exception of "low unemployment", as of June 2010.  Cape Coral provides its residents with an excellent quality of life and endless recreational opportunities. From golfing and tennis to boating and fishing to the City's Sun Splash Water Park to shelling on the nearby beaches of Sanibel Island, Cape Coral has something for everyone!  Cape Coral is also home to the Cape Coral BMX park, Wagging Tails Dog Park, Eagle Skate Park, and Seahawk Air Park.

Even culture is here!  Cultural Park Theater, Cape Coral Historical Musem, Cape Coral Art Studo, and the Rotary Art Festival, which is ranked among the top 50 art fairs in the USA!!    Our New Residents Club provides an opportunity to meet new freinds, learn about the community, speak to community leaders, and have tons of fun.

While the quality of life is 2nd to none, our community  built out may very well top over 400,000 population!  Imagine the business opportunities that exist!  Educating our workforce is not a probem, as the public schools offer Accelerated Reader, International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement and career education programs.  Higher education institutions such as Barry University, Edison University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Hodges University and Rasmussen College are just minutes away.  We have vocational schools like High Tech North and High Tech Central that train in computer, medical, automotive, graphic arts & culinary careers.

Access to Cape Coral is a short distance to one of the newest airports in the country:  Southwest Florida International Airport.  For private busines flights, Page Field Airport serves this need.

Today, environmental regulations prohibit the creation of new canals, so many consider Cape Coral to be the final frontier in waterfront development. If living on or near the water is your dream, or you're looking for a less hectic sun-kissed lifestyle, you won't find a better or more affordable place than Cape Coral. One visit and you'll understand why those of us who call Cape Coral home say..... CAPE CORAL.....It's just PARADISE!   There may never be a better to time to INVEST in Cape Coral, Florida!

Don't forget my FREE boat tour** We own both sail & power boats-- we KNOW the water here!
